HRE Performance Wheels 303

Fine straight spokes, tied in pairs at the rim

The 303 sits between a multi-spoke and a mesh. Its spokes are hairline-thin and dead straight from the hub outward, and only in the last inch do they pair off and knit together, leaving small triangular tips against the bolt ring. There is no crossing anywhere else on the face, which is what gives it that radial, almost wire-wheel motion when the car rolls.

Thin spokes plus a bright riveted lip is a combination that reads very differently by color. In dark finishes the face nearly vanishes and you see mostly the lip; in light ones every spoke stands out as a separate line. Both are legitimate looks and they are not obvious in a catalog photo, so this is a good one to flick through finishes on.

Classic, forged 3-piece, offered in 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Long-hooded coupes and executive sedans, particularly under deep gloss wraps where the fine spokes catch the reflections the body throws. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 303 come in?

18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. HRE shows it in brushed clear, brushed dark clear, gloss silver and satin black, with a polished clear lip on most builds.

Will the 303 fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
