HRE Performance Wheels 555-GTM

A near-solid dish with five long slots

Five slots, and nothing else. The face is a smooth dish with five long angular cutouts arranged around it, so what you see is mostly metal with a few sharp dark shapes in it. Against the drilled discs and woven lattices elsewhere in this family it is startlingly plain, and that plainness is its whole argument.

Minimal faces put all the emphasis on surface and color, which is why the matte bronze reference finish works here - there is enough continuous metal for the tone to read properly. It also means the wheel picks up reflections from the body, so a bright wrap will tint it in a way a busy face never would.

Vintage, forged monoblok, offered in 17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Boxy classics and minimalist restomods, and saturated single colors that a near-solid wheel can reflect back at you. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 555-GTM come in?

17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged monoblok, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. The reference set is brief: matte bronze, plus brushed clear and frozen polished clear builds in the gallery.

Will the 555-GTM fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
