HRE Performance Wheels 454

Five arms pierced with big round holes

Five wide arms, and between and through them a set of large round holes rather than shaped windows. That single decision sets the design apart - nothing else in this catalog uses circular openings, and they give the face a completely different rhythm. Outside sits a bright riveted lip that frames the disc.

Because the openings are circles, the face reads quite differently from the triangles and slots used elsewhere in the range. It also means the amount of brake you see changes sharply with steering angle, since a round hole either lines up with the caliper or it does not. Worth watching as you rotate the car on screen.

Vintage, forged 3-piece, offered in 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Vintage racers, restomods and small classic coupes, and flat period colors - racing blue, cream, signal red - against a chrome lip. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 454 come in?

18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Reference builds include brushed clear, polished clear, satin charcoal and a two-tone brushed and polished treatment.

Will the 454 fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
