HRE Performance Wheels 501-GTM

The fine weave, one piece and matte

Slim members, many crossings, small openings - this is the fine end of the vintage weave family. Up close you can trace individual strands; from a few paces the face stops being a pattern and becomes a texture, which is exactly what made this kind of wheel famous in the first place. A machined wordmark band rings the outer edge.

Fine weaves are the most period-accurate thing in the vintage line, and as a monoblok in one matte tone this one avoids the brightwork that would push it toward show-car territory. It is also the design most likely to look busy against a patterned wrap, so that pairing is worth testing.

Vintage, forged monoblok, offered in 17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". 1980s classics and retro builds, and plain single-color wraps that leave the weave as the only detail on the car. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 501-GTM come in?

17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged monoblok, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Reference builds include matte bronze, satin black, gloss white, brushed clear and frozen polished bronze.

Will the 501-GTM fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
