HRE Performance Wheels S201

Forked Ys, deep pockets, bolted lip

Five arms open into wide Y forks, each hollowed into a deep pocket so the raised edges catch light and the hollows hold shadow. Outside them the bolted ring and lip give the whole face a clean circular boundary, which stops the irregular pocket shapes from making the wheel look ragged at the edge.

Large sculpted shapes plus a bright outer ring is a combination that photographs well from a distance, where a fine mesh would blur. That makes the S201 a sensible pick if the car is going to be seen mostly in motion or in wide shots rather than in detail photographs at a meet.

Series S, forged 3-piece, offered in 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Broad coupes and performance sedans, and dark satin wraps where a sculpted face and a bright ring both stay visible. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE S201 come in?

20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Reference builds include satin black, satin bronze, satin charcoal, gloss black, brushed clear and frozen dark clear.

Will the S201 fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
