HRE Performance Wheels P101SC

The P101 face, pulled deep into the barrel

Identical pattern, different profile. On the P101 the face sits close to flat; on the SC it is drawn back so each branch of every Y curves away from you as it travels toward the rim. From straight on the two look alike. From the front three-quarter view, where most people actually see a wheel, they look nothing alike.

Depth like this catches a band of reflected body color along the inside of every spoke, which means the wheel picks up whatever the wrap is doing. Over a color-flip film that effect can be strong enough to change the wheel's apparent color as the car turns, which is exactly the sort of thing worth checking before ordering.

Series P, forged monoblok, offered in 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Lowered coupes and wide-arch sports cars, and wraps with real depth - candies, flips, deep metallics - for the dish to reflect. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE P101SC come in?

19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged monoblok, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown in brushed clear, brushed dark clear, satin black, satin white gold and frozen dark clear, plus custom colors.

Will the P101SC fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
