HRE Performance Wheels 544C

The disc face in full bright polish

Same shape, different surface. The disc, the five slots and the deep double-riveted lip are all as the 544 has them, but where the standard car contrasts a brushed face against polished details, the C is photographed with the polish run across everything. The result is a wheel with almost no internal edges - just one bright surface with five dark cuts in it.

Full-polish faces are mirrors, which means they take their color from the car and the sky rather than from the finish. Over a red wrap they go warm, over a dark one they go almost black. That is unpredictable in a studio photo and quite predictable in a render of your car, which is the point of looking here first.

Series 5, forged 3-piece, offered in 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Show cars and full-size cruisers in saturated single colors, where a mirror-bright disc picks up the body and doubles it. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 544C come in?

18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. The reference set shows a full polished clear build and a satin black face over a gloss black lip.

Will the 544C fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
