HRE Performance Wheels 522

Five curved blades, all sweeping one way

Nothing else in the 520 family looks like this. Five wide blades leave the hub and curve, all in the same direction, so the face has a built-in sense of rotation. The windows between them are rounded rather than angular, which softens the whole thing, and the machined outer lip finishes the circle without adding clutter.

Directional faces do something specific in photographs: they look fast standing still, and they only look right when the sweep runs the same way as the wheel turns. The render you see here is one side of the car, so picture the mirror image on the other before you decide whether the motion suits your body lines.

Series 5, forged 3-piece, offered in 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Curvy coupes and roadsters, and warm wrap colors - bronze, copper, deep orange - that follow the sweep of the blades. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 522 come in?

18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown with satin bronze, satin charcoal, gloss charcoal and frozen polished bronze faces, most over a polished clear lip.

Will the 522 fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
