HRE Performance Wheels 528M

The five-by-three fan, in one forging

The structure survives intact: a five-point star at the hub, three slim spokes off every arm, and narrow slots dividing the groups. What goes is the bolted outer band, so the spokes end against a plain machined edge and the pattern reaches further before it stops. The face also sits a little deeper in the barrel than the three-piece version does.

One tone across the whole wheel suits a design this geometric, because the pattern has enough going on that a contrasting lip would be one thing too many. HRE keeps the reference build simple for exactly that reason, and on a car it reads as a fine texture that fills the arch without shouting.

Series 5, forged monoblok, offered in 17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Coupes and sedans in solid, undecorated colors, where a detailed one-tone wheel supplies the interest the body does not. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE 528M come in?

17", 18", 19", 20", 21", 22", 23", 24". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged monoblok, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. The reference build is a frozen stone clear, carried as a single tone across the face and barrel.

Will the 528M fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
