RDB LA Zero

A flat solid disc with a ring of small slots

Zero is exactly what the name suggests. The face is a flat, solid disc of brushed silver with no spokes, no dish and no windows through the middle - just a ring of small slots cut around the outer edge. Next to the Masterpiece the slots are smaller and sit right at the rim, so even more of the face is plain metal.

A closed disc hides the brakes completely and turns the wheel into a single shape, which is a strong, deliberate look: part aero wheel, part concept car. It works best when the rest of the car is just as clean. Put it next to a busy graphic wrap and the two fight; next to one solid color, it looks finished.

RDB LA, forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, offered in 20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Electric cars, luxury sedans and low, smooth coupes in solid gloss, satin or matte colors. We've rendered it on 251 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the RDB LA Zero come in?

20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown here in brushed silver.

Will the Zero fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
