RDB LA Twenty Two

About thirty wire-thin spokes in gloss black

Count the spokes and you lose track somewhere past twenty. They are thin, straight and evenly spaced, so from a few feet away the face reads as a fine dark lattice rather than as separate arms. The only bright part of the wheel is a narrow polished lip, which draws one clean circle around all that black.

Gloss black with a thin bright edge sits comfortably under almost any wrap color. The catch with a dense black face is that it can vanish into the arch on a dark car, where the spokes merge with the tire and the shadow behind them. That is exactly the kind of thing worth checking on your own model before you commit to it.

RDB LA, forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, offered in 20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". White, silver, pastel and bold solid wraps, where a dark fine-spoke wheel gives the car a sharp outline. We've rendered it on 251 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the RDB LA Twenty Two come in?

20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown here in gloss black with a thin polished lip.

Will the Twenty Two fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
