RDB LA Masterpiece

Solid brushed dish, slotted near the lip

Most of this face is uninterrupted metal. The center is a flat brushed-silver dish with nothing cut into it, and the only openings are a ring of short radial slots out near the lip, a little like the vents on a brake rotor. From a distance it reads as one smooth silver disc with a finely textured border.

A face this closed does two things. It hides the brakes almost entirely, and it makes the wheel read as a single large circle instead of spokes and gaps. That suits the long, calm flanks of a luxury car better than a track build, and it gives a wrap nothing to compete with - the body color does all the talking.

RDB LA, forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, offered in 20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Luxury sedans, coupes and electric cars in clean gloss or satin colors, where a smooth disc matches smooth body panels. We've rendered it on 251 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the RDB LA Masterpiece come in?

20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown here in brushed silver.

Will the Masterpiece fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.

Pick the wheel, then run the wrap colours over it — same build, one screen.
