RDB LA 50

Fifty-spoke turbine in bright machined silver

Fifty spokes is enough that the face stops reading as spokes at all. Each one is thin and straight and cut bright, and the gaps between them are black, so up close you see stripes and from across the street you see a silver turbine. It is a busy design but a very regular one: every spoke is the same, and the pattern never breaks.

Machined silver throws light back hard, so this wheel gets brighter the sunnier it is and goes quiet in shade. That contrast against the black gaps is the whole look, which makes it a strong match for dark or muted wraps and a crowded one on anything with a pattern of its own. Like every RDB LA design here, it starts at 20 inches.

RDB LA, forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, offered in 20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Big coupes and SUVs in dark, matte or satin wraps, where a bright machined face ends up the brightest thing on the car. We've rendered it on 251 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the RDB LA 50 come in?

20", 21", 22", 23", 24", 25", 26". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 1-, 2- or 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. Shown here in bright machined silver, with black between the spokes.

Will the 50 fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
