HRE Performance Wheels Tusk

Five concave blades, one tone through the lip

The blades are wide and the face is properly concave, so each spoke travels back toward the barrel as it goes out. A raised ridge runs the length of every blade, which splits the surface into two planes and gives the wheel its highlight line. What it does not have is any contrast: the lip is finished in the same color as the face.

That decision separates the Tusk from the G Code more than the spoke shape does. A monotone wheel takes on the character of whatever finish it wears, so a satin bronze Tusk looks like a solid bronze object while a dark one nearly disappears into the arch. There is no bright edge holding the shape together, for better or worse.

Ringbrothers, forged 3-piece, offered in 18", 19", 20", 21", 22". Wide-arch restomods and modern muscle, and warm wraps - copper, bronze, deep gold - that a monotone wheel can echo. We've rendered it on 231 cars so far — same studio frame each time, wheel swapped in place.

Questions, answered

What sizes does the HRE Tusk come in?

18", 19", 20", 21", 22". Diameter shown; width and offset are specified at order. It is forged 3-piece, so the wheel is machined for the car rather than picked off a shelf. The reference set runs frozen gold with brushed gold, frozen dark clear with brushed dark clear, and polished dark clear.

Will the Tusk fit my car?

Almost certainly. Nothing in this set is cast — every wheel is forged to order, so width, offset, bolt pattern and centre bore are specified when you place the order. The variable that matters visually is diameter, and that is what these renders show.

Are these photos or renders?

Renders, and deliberately so. Each car is rendered once per wheel in the same studio frame, so the only thing that changes between two images is the wheel itself. A photo set shot in different places and different light can't give you that comparison.
